Fort Kochi in Kerala is famous for many things- the dutch architecture, antique gift shops, the beach, the Muziris Biennale, and cafe aesthetics, other than these there is one particular constant throughout the streets of Kochi. Something that exists as a part of the beautiful aesthetic of the city, is its goats.
They are unbothered by foreign visitors as long as there are greens to munch on and roads and traffic to stroll in. Our latest design collection “aadu” features how Fort Kochi takes in the goats as its own, merging with the blue door aesthetic of the streets and becoming one with the city.
Made using the softest materials- wool and bamboo silk, it is entirely hand tufted by creating high and low elevations to the rug. The colour palette predominantly depicts the dusty shades of the doors in Kochi.
