The Neytt x Rana Afify collaboration presents the Abu Simbel Collection, a series of rugs shaped by instinct, empathy, and storytelling. Deeply rooted in Egypt’s rich cultural history, the collection draws inspiration from the iconic Abu Simbel temples and the passage of time across sacred landscapes, expressed through both hand-tufted and Indo-Nepali techniques.
Each rug reflects a distinct narrative—from the spiritual bond between gods, pharaohs, and humanity to ideas of eternal life, divine illumination, the power of the Sun God Ra, and renewal through flooding. United by themes of spirituality, fertility, and heritage, the collection transforms history into woven design, while remaining open, evolving, and guided by connection.
