Description
1854 marks a significant moment in the history of communication, with the introduction of postage stamps transforming the way stories, messages, and memories travelled across distances. Inspired by the language of stamps and India’s rich cultural heritage, the collection explores stories preserved and carried through time. Each stamp becomes a visual narrative, drawing from the state’s architecture, landscapes, traditions, craftsmanship, flora, and cultural identity. These elements are reinterpreted through contemporary textile surfaces, transforming fragments of our history into designs that carry a story forward.
